What is Verdura?

Verdura is a solar-powered, LoRa-enabled IoT system that gives real time environmental insights to farmers through its multi-node sensing network. Verdura uses sensor nodes to monitor temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and pH and give reports by our own Verdura AI model. Our goal: to provide a low cost product that addresses modern day farmers' need for more affordable and data driven crop management methods.

Measure

Records accurate and precise readings across multiple zones for faultless insights.

Compare

Spot differences between zones to prioritize irrigation and catch stress early.

Act

Trigger alerts and export reports that farmers and agronomists can actually use and understand.

Key Benefits

  • Zone-based monitoring: designed around variability inside a single acre
  • Low-power nodes with battery/solar options for real deployments
  • Alerts for moisture drops, heat stress risk, frost risk, and anomalies
  • Per-acre kit pricing — you own the hardware

The Technology

Verdura nodes are designed for fast deployment, field durability, and clean data collection—without complicated setup.

Hardware details shown are pilot targets; final enclosure/sensor stack may change as testing continues.

Features

Designed for real farms: simple UI, measurable improvements, fast iteration.

Zone-level Insights

Compare zones and find outliers so irrigation goes where it matters most.

Moisture Alerts

Trigger alerts when readings drop below a threshold for a sustained time window.

Heat + Frost Risk

Microclimate tracking for risk flags (simple thresholds at MVP).

Deployable Hardware

Low-power nodes built to survive field conditions with replaceable components.
